Set up a membership
Sign people up, keep members in a group, and share offers and messages with them.

A membership is a sign-up, a list of members, and the offers and messages those members get. You might use it for regulars at a local business, or for a run club that wants a weekly promotion and a way to message members.
People join via a Connection page. Everyone who submits goes into a Customer Group. That group is who sees member promotions and content, who gets a welcome, and who you can message later.
Connecting people
People sign up on a Connection page. The page collects their details with a basic form, then shows the content you add.
- Go to Settings → Connection Flows and select New Connection Page.
- Name the page and add a header image.
- Turn on Require Customer Connection. Set the Primary Heading and Subheading, such as Join the Saturday run club.
- Under Customer details, choose Use an existing Form and select a basic form. Leave Advanced form off. A basic form starts with first name, last name, email, and terms. Use Add field for anything else you need, such as a phone number or a preferred run day. Connection pages only list basic forms.
- If you do not have a basic form yet, open Forms, select New form, leave Advanced form off, then save and select it here.
- Add any Content or Promotions that should sit on the page, such as this week's route or a member offer. You can come back to this after the next sections if those tiles are only for members.
- Save, then copy the Page Link. Turn it into a QR code if you want one for a window, a race pack, or a social post.
See Custom properties, Dynamic Connection Pages, Setting up Content, Setting up Promotions, and Shortlinks & QR.
When someone submits, myne creates or updates their customer profile with the details on the form.
Keep sign-ups in a group
The group is your member list. People join it when they submit the form on that Connection page. You do not add them by hand.
- Open Customers and select Create new group.
- Name the group, such as Run club members.
- Set Customer inclusion to Known customers.
- On the Criteria tab, add Completed connection form. Choose Has completed, then under Connection Forms add the Connection page.
- Create the group.
Later sign-ups join the group on their own. See Customer Groups and Customer Group Criteria Explained.
Show member promotions and content
This step is optional. Use it when members should see something other people do not, such as a member coffee, a partner discount, or the meeting point.
Promotion
- Go to Promotions and select New Promotion.
- Add the name, description, and what the offer is.
- Open Who can see and where.
- Turn off Show this to All Known Customers and select the membership group. Do the same for Available for All Known Customers if only members should be able to claim it. Leave it visible but not available if you want other people to see a locked offer.
- Turn off Show this to Unknown Customers if people who have not joined should not see it.
- Include Connection Pages as a place it can appear, then add the promotion on your membership Connection page.
Content
- Go to Content and select Create Content.
- Add the name, description, link, and button text, such as This week's route.
- Open Who can see this. Turn off Show this to All Known Customers and select the membership group. Turn off Show this to Unknown Customers if it is members only.
- Add that content on the Connection page.
Tiles on the page follow these settings, so two people can open the same link and see different things. See Setting up Promotions, Setting up Content, and Dynamic Connection Pages.
Welcome someone when they join
The welcome runs each time someone new enters the group, which happens when they submit the form.
- Go to Automations and select New Automation.
- Give it a title, such as Welcome new members.
- Choose the trigger When a customer joins a group, and select the membership group.
- Under Rules, choose New so only people who join from now on get the welcome. Choose Existing & New if you also want to message people already in the group.
- Add a Send message action and write the welcome email or SMS.
- Select Create Automation.
See How to Create Automations, Automations - Triggers & Filters, and Using Customer Groups in Automations.
Message everyone in the group
Use a campaign when you have one message for the members you have now, such as a cancelled run or a new menu. The welcome automation keeps running for each new member. A campaign does not.
- From Conversations, open Campaigns and select New Campaign.
- Choose the membership group.
- Write the email or SMS.
- Send it now, or schedule it.
People need to be opted in to marketing before the campaign can send. If someone is not, that message can stay in draft for you to approve. See Campaigns Overview and How to Create a Campaign.
