Setting up Content

Learn how to create and configure content to guide customers to resources, websites, and experiences

Published

Content allows you to share information on Dynamic Connection Pages, direct customers to external experiences, or promote resources without offering a discount or reward.

Unlike Promotions, Content isn't redeemed by customers. Instead, it's designed to guide customers to websites, menus, booking pages, social media, or any other destination you choose.

Creating content

To create new content:

  • Navigate to Content.

  • Click Create Content.

  • Complete the content details.

  • Save your changes.

Once created, your content can be added to your Connection Flows.

Content details

The first section controls how your content appears to customers.

You can configure:

  • Name – The title displayed to customers.

  • Description – An optional description explaining the content.

  • Internal description – Notes for your team that aren't visible to customers.

  • Action URL – The destination customers are taken to when they select the content.

  • Image – An optional image displayed alongside the content.

  • Call-to-action (CTA) text – The button text shown to customers, such as View Menu, Book Now, or Learn More.

These settings define how your content is presented throughout myne.

Requiring customer connection

If enabled, customers must connect before they can access your content.

This allows myne to recognise the customer before redirecting them, helping you build richer customer profiles and create more personalised experiences in the future.

You can also choose to display a confirmation page before redirecting customers to the destination.

Showing content to new customers

By default, content is shown based on your Connection Flow configuration.

You can also choose to make content available to new customers—visitors who haven't yet been recognised or linked to a customer profile.

This is useful for sharing information or experiences that everyone should be able to access, even before they've connected with your business.

Best practices

Content works best for experiences that don't require a promotion or reward.

Common examples include:

  • Digital menus

  • Table bookings

  • Event information

  • Social media pages

  • Online ordering

  • Gift card purchases

  • Website links

Use Content when you simply want to direct customers somewhere. Use Promotions when you're offering a reward, discount, or incentive.

What's next?

Once your content has been created, add it to a Connection Flow so it can be displayed to the right customers at the right time.

You can combine Content with Promotions, Customer Groups, and Automations to create personalised customer journeys across every touchpoint.
