Campaigns Overview
Campaigns allow you to send one-off messages to groups of customers. Whether you're announcing a new product, promoting an event, or rewarding loyal customers, Campaigns help you reach the right audience with personalised communication.
Unlike Automations, which send messages automatically based on customer behaviour, Campaigns are created and sent when you choose. Campaigns can be placed in draft or on schedule too.
Why use Campaigns?
Campaigns make it easy to communicate with your customers at the right time.
Use Campaigns to:
Announce new products, menus or services.
Promote events and limited-time offers.
Share business updates or important news.
Re-engage specific groups of customers.
Send personalised email or SMS messages.
Because Campaigns are sent to Customer Groups, you can target exactly who receives your message.
How Campaigns work
Creating a Campaign follows a simple process:
Choose the Customer Group you want to message.
Select your message type, such as SMS or Email.
Create your message.
Preview your Campaign.
Save it as a draft, schedule it, or send it immediately.
Campaigns can be created from scratch or by using an existing email template where available.
Working with Customer Groups
Every Campaign is sent to a Customer Group.
Customer Groups let you target customers based on their behaviour, preferences or lifecycle stage. For example, you might send a Campaign to:
First-time customers.
Loyal members.
Customers who haven't visited recently.
Customers celebrating a birthday.
Customers interested in a particular product or promotion.
This helps ensure every Campaign is relevant to the people receiving it.
Drafts, scheduled and sent Campaigns
As you create Campaigns, they'll move through different stages.
Draft – Campaigns you're still creating or editing.
Scheduled – Campaigns planned to send at a future date and time.
Sent – Campaigns that have already been delivered, along with their performance.
These views make it easy to manage your communication from creation through to delivery.
