Promotions help you reward customers, encourage repeat visits, and create personalised experiences across your connected channels. Whether you're offering a sign-up reward, loyalty discount, or limited-time offer, myne gives you complete control over how promotions are displayed, who can redeem them, and when they can be used.
This guide walks through each section of the Promotion configuration page.
Creating a promotion
To create a new promotion:
Navigate to Promotions.
Click New Promotion.
Head over the Configuration tab
Enter your promotion details.
Configure each section of the promotion.
Save your changes.
Once saved, your promotion is ready to be used across your selected channels.
1. Promotion details
The Promotion Details section controls how your promotion appears to customers.
Here you can configure:
Name – The title displayed to customers.
Description – A short explanation of the offer.
Internal description – Optional notes for your team that aren't visible to customers.
Image – An optional image to make the promotion more engaging.
These settings define how your promotion is presented wherever it appears.
2. Who can see and where
This section controls both who can view your promotion and where it can appear.
Customer visibility
Promotions can be shown to:
Unknown customers
Known customers
Both known and unknown customers
For each audience, you can choose whether the promotion is:
Visible – Customers can see the promotion.
Available – Customers are able to redeem the promotion.
This allows you to create locked promotions, where customers can see an offer before they've qualified to redeem it.
Where the promotion appears
Choose which connected channels can display the promotion.
Depending on your integrations, this may include:
Connection Pages
POS integrations
Ordering platforms
Other supported channels
A promotion can appear in multiple locations at the same time.
3. Connection Page settings
If your promotion is displayed on a Connection Page, this section controls the customer experience.
You can configure:
Badge style displayed on the promotion.
Action URL customers are taken to after selecting the promotion.
Call-to-action (CTA) text displayed on the button.
Whether customers must connect before accessing the promotion.
If customer connection is required, you can also customise:
The form heading.
The information collected.
The confirmation page shown after connecting.
These settings help create a seamless experience while allowing myne to recognise and personalise future interactions.
4. Rules to unlock and redeem
This section defines what your promotion offers and how customers become eligible to redeem it.
Start by selecting a Promotion Type. myne supports a range of promotion types to suit different customer experiences, including:
Order-Level Discount – Apply a percentage or fixed discount to the entire order.
Category Discount – Discount products within a selected category.
Multiple Products Discount – Apply discounts when customers purchase multiple qualifying products.
Buy X Get Y (Order) – Reward customers within a single order (for example, buy two coffees and receive a pastry).
Buy X Get Y (Rolling) – Reward customers based on purchases made over multiple visits (for example, every 10th coffee free).
Streak Unlock – Encourage repeat visits by unlocking rewards after customers complete a visit streak.
Once you've selected a promotion type, configure how the promotion should work by setting options such as:
Automatic or manual redemption.
Discount type and value.
Minimum spend requirements.
Product or category eligibility.
Any additional rules supported by your connected integrations.
The available settings will change depending on the promotion type you've selected.
Examples of promotions:
A fixed dollar or percentage discount on the whole order or specific items
A Buy X & Get Y Rolling Promotion - Like a Rolling Coffee Card
Multiple Products discount
These rules ensure customers receive the correct reward when they qualify.
5. Schedule and usage limits
Control when your promotion is available and how often it can be redeemed.
You can configure:
Start and end dates.
Time windows.
Customer usage limits.
Whether the promotion can be stacked with other offers.
These settings are useful for seasonal campaigns, limited-time offers, and promotions that should only be redeemed a certain number of times.
Promotion performance
After your promotion is live, the Summary tab provides an overview of its performance.
Here you can monitor:
Total redemptions.
Revenue generated.
New customers acquired.
Customers re-engaged.
Customers who have redeemed the promotion.
These insights help you understand how your promotions are performing and identify opportunities to improve future campaigns.
