What is an Automation
Learn how automations in myne turn customer behaviour into instant action—moving customers through the right experience at the right time, without manual work.
Published
Automations help you build stronger customer relationships by automatically responding to customer behaviour. Instead of manually tracking who to contact and when, myne continuously monitors your customers and takes action when the right moment arrives.
Whether you're welcoming a first-time visitor, rewarding loyalty, or reconnecting with customers who haven't visited recently, Automations help you deliver personalised experiences at scale.
Why use Automations?
Every customer is on a different journey with your business. Some are visiting for the first time, others are becoming loyal regulars, while some may be at risk of not returning.
Automations help you respond to these moments automatically by:
Delivering personalised experiences at the right time.
Ensuring every customer receives a consistent experience.
Saving your team time by removing repetitive manual tasks.
Helping grow customer loyalty and repeat visits.
Instead of constantly monitoring customer activity, myne does it for you.
What can you automate?
Automations can be used across almost every stage of the customer journey.
Some common examples include:
Welcome new customers by sending a personalised message after their first visit.
Reward loyal customers after reaching a visit or spending milestone.
Reconnect with lapsed customers who haven't visited in a set period.
Notify your team when an important customer arrives.
Move customers between Customer Groups as their behaviour changes.
Send personalised campaigns based on purchases, visits, or engagement.
The possibilities continue to grow as you connect more of your business data to myne.
How Automations work
Every Automation follows the same simple process:
A trigger occurs – such as a customer's first visit, a completed purchase, or joining a Customer Group.
Conditions are checked – myne confirms the customer meets any rules you've defined.
An action is performed – such as sending a message, updating a Customer Group, creating a task, or awarding a promotion.
Once enabled, the Automation continues running in the background, automatically responding whenever the conditions are met.
