Sync myne promotions to Square POS as discounts
Create order and category discounts in myne and have them appear at the Square POS, or pull in your existing Square discounts to manage them from myne.

Connect your Square POS to myne to create and manage discounts across both platforms.
Promotions created in myne can be synced to Square, where they're created as automatic discounts at the register. You can also import existing Square discounts into myne to view them alongside your other promotions.
Before you start
Make sure Square is connected and active in myne. See Connect Square POS to myne.
Only Order and Category promotions can be synced to Square.
If you're creating category discounts, make sure your Square products and categories have been synced to myne.
For customer-specific discounts, make sure your customer groups and their members are synced using Sync groups under your Square integration.
Sync promotions with Square
You can create new promotions in myne and send them to Square, or import discounts you've already configured in Square.
Create a promotion in myne
Go to Promotions and create a new promotion.
Select an Order or Category discount.
Configure your discount amount, eligible categories, customer groups and any other conditions.
Under Where this promotion appears, select Square.
Save your promotion.
myne automatically creates a corresponding discount in Square, which can then apply at the register. You can view the Square sync status and last sync time directly from your promotion. If you remove Square from a promotion created in myne, the corresponding discount is also removed from Square.
Import existing Square discounts
If you already have discounts configured in Square, you will have them automatically sync to myne. Should you need to manually trigger a sync you can
Go to Settings → Integrations → Square.
Under Update customer activity, select Sync discounts.
myne will import your existing Square Catalog discounts and create matching promotions. Discounts imported from Square remain managed in Square. If you make changes to them, simply run Sync discounts again to update them in myne.
How discounts work in Square
Square supports Order and Category discounts, including percentage and fixed-amount offers. You can set start and end dates, minimum spend requirements, and restrict discounts to specific customer groups.
For example, you could create:
10% off the entire bill for all customers throughout October.
50% off drinks for customers in your VIP group.
$5 off orders over $50 to encourage higher spending.
Once synced, these promotions become automatic discounts in Square. For customer-specific offers, the customer must be associated with the sale and belong to the relevant synced Square customer group.
Troubleshooting
My promotion isn't appearing in Square
If a promotion doesn't appear after saving, go to Settings → Integrations → Square, reconnect your integration and approve the requested permissions.
This refreshes Square's discount permissions without interrupting your regular POS sync.
