Creating custom dashboards with myneAI
Build custom dashboards just by describing what you want to measure
Published
While Signals includes a range of built-in dashboards, every business measures success differently. With myneAI, you can create your own dashboards simply by describing what you want to see.
There's no need to manually build charts or configure complex reports. Tell myneAI what you're trying to measure, and it will build the dashboard for you.
Create a new dashboard
From Signals, open My Reports and select New Dashboard.
Give your dashboard a name, then describe the information you'd like to track.
For example:
Show my top 30 customers each month.
Track weekly revenue by location.
Compare new customers against returning customers.
Show my highest-selling products over the last 90 days.
Focus on the outcome you want rather than how the dashboard should be built.
Refine your request
If more information is needed, myneAI will ask follow-up questions before creating the dashboard.
For example, if you ask for your top customers, myneAI may ask whether you want to rank them by:
Total spend.
Number of visits.
Average order value.
Recent activity.
This conversation helps ensure your dashboard reflects exactly what you're looking for.
Review and save
Once your dashboard has been created, you'll have the opportunity to review the results and make changes if needed.
When you're happy with the dashboard, save it to My Reports so it's always available from the Signals navigation.
Dashboards stay up to date
Custom dashboards automatically use the latest data available in your myne account.
Rather than creating the same report each week or month, you can return to your dashboard at any time to see the latest results.
Keep exploring with myneAI
Your dashboard is just the beginning.
If something catches your attention, continue the conversation with myneAI.
For example, you might ask:
Why did revenue increase this month?
Which customers contributed most to this growth?
Compare this with last quarter.
Add another chart showing average spend per customer.
You can continue refining your dashboard over time as your business changes.
Best practices
You'll get the best results by describing the business question you want to answer rather than the charts you want to build.
For example:
Show customers who haven't visited in 60 days and how much they previously spent.
Track repeat visits after customers redeem a promotion.
Compare weekday and weekend sales by location.
The more context you provide, the more tailored your dashboard will be.
What's next?
If you don't need a permanent dashboard, you can ask myneAI questions at any time to explore your data, investigate trends, and uncover new insights without creating a report.
